After forging through all kinds of mechanistic aspects of Re catalysis, Fabian defended his Master thesis on July 25th, 2019. It was also the first time that Jörg was a first examiner in a defence, with Prof. Boese acting as the second examiner. But everything went well, and we are happy to have graduated another Master student. Even more so as Fabian has decided to stay in the group as a PhD student. He will start on Aug 12th with his PhD and will join our ongoing scorpionate research project.
